Dr. Groberg is the lead dentist and owner of Posh Dental Spa — an Arizona native who grew up just up the road in Mesa.
After graduating from Mountain View High School in 2013, Dr. Groberg spent two years in Bolivia as a missionary, then finished a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science at Brigham Young University in 2019. Dental school followed at Midwestern University in Glendale, where Dr. Groberg earned a Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2023 — graduating sixth in the class, with awards for both clinical skill and academic performance.
The first years in practice were spent in a busy pediatric dental office, a setting that teaches sedation dentistry, conservative management of disease, and speed. Children have short attention spans, and working well within them is a skill that carries over to every adult who would rather not be in the chair a minute longer than necessary. Alongside that, Dr. Groberg has spent considerable time training and mentoring with orthodontists, bringing an orthodontic eye to how teeth sit and how a bite functions.
The guiding principle is simple: do the least amount of dentistry needed to achieve the result. Preserve natural tooth structure wherever it can be preserved. Choose the least invasive option that will hold up over time. Say so plainly when the honest answer is to watch and wait rather than treat.
Outside the practice, Dr. Groberg is married to Taylor, and together they have three children. As a family they read, seek out new food, travel to new places, and spend as much time as they can with extended family.
